Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict. ~ Proverbs 17:1 NLT
The quality, artfulness, appearance
of the food on the table may be plain,
in-artful, simple, but placed there
with love in the heart, with gratitude
for the simple fare, but the meal may appeal
to those who partake a great deal more
than a banquet set out with animosity
as a side dish, and few would not choose
the peaceful meal over the second.
Loving Father, thank you for food
to nourish us, body and soul!
