2 May my prayer be set before you like incense;
may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
3 Set a guard over my mouth, LORD;
keep watch over the door of my lips.
4 Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil ~ Psalm 141, NIV, Holy Bible, eBook (p. 613). Zondervan. Kindle Edition.
God, give me the words
to praise you, to please you,
to remind me of the mystic feel
when I come to you, seeking
not my own will but that yours
Your own be done in my thoughts,
my words, my actions.
May my demeanor, my intent,
my thankfulness be as
a pleasing aroma reminding me
of your majesty, your awesomeness.
bring me to such atonement(at oneness)
that I am cleansed of hurtful thoughts
that keep me from an attitude of love
for all people that in some way
I may be a worthy tool for
bringing a climate of love to all I meet.
Don’t let me wander from your path
into negativity and strife.
I would abide in the love that is you.
Amen. So be it.
