Sure, we're anonymous

at the level of press, radio,
films, television
and other public media

but they know us out there.

Most of us have told our families,
many our co-workers and friends,
and they see the difference...
if there is a difference.
If we act like it's just a diet
it seems like every other one we've done
time after time in years past.
But if we change, they see.
Acquaintances see body size.
Compadres see peace, serenity,
joy, freedom from fear, acceptance...
They're watching us and that way
we carry the message without speaking
a single word.
