Sometimes I ask a trusted servant to do my inventory, to tell me what I'm not seeing. ~ David S
We're told to look for somebody
who has what we want
and to ask them to sponsor us.
But does it go further?
Are they often not only people now
who have what we want
but also those who had what we have,
who had what we hate, and who have found
a path to recovery, a way out of the mire?
We don't do others' inventory...at our wishing.
That doesn't mean we can't be a mirror
to whose still suffering, that we can't answer
when our observations are sought.
who has what we want
and to ask them to sponsor us.
