I’m alive. And I will live...until I die.
I could have a terminal disease
or feel on top of the world, in control,
and it just doesn't matter. I am alive now,
here, this moment. Maybe the wolves
stand howling at the door or perhaps
it's a red cow – how did that become
a symbol of hope? It's not that I want
to experience the song, hoping some day
each person could live like he's dying.
It's not that I need to plan and complete
a bucket list. I just need to know, at soul-level,
I'm alive now, here, today. I will live today,
just for today, with a consciousness that
today is all I have, but I have today.
I'm alive. And I will live...until I die.
