The solution was always here,
before me, staring at me,
waiting for me.
The solution has never changed
but when I changed,
when I accepted some truths —
of powerlessness,
of inability to manage,
that perhaps some power could —
only then did the blinders fall off
so I could at long last see
what had always been
right there in the open, waiting.
