Proper Armour

 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. ~ Ephesians 6:14-17 (NIV)

How does Paul describe
the proper armor? 
Not that we actually need armor,
but the necessities remain
throughout the centuries...
truth, righteousness, 
readiness from the gospel,
the good news of truth.
The shield of faith,
salvation as an extinguisher,
the spirit, and the word of God.
While armor is archaic, 
the concepts are never outdated.
I can do all things through Christ
who strengthens me
with truth, righteousness, the good news,
faith, salvation, the Spirit,
and God's word.
Proper armor
no matter the era,
  no matter the need!
