Making a list and checking it twice…
Is that what we expect?
From the time we understand
the giver of gifts the difference
between God and Santa
we should also set aside
our expectations of
less than a loving, caring parent!
Thank God there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve Him!
