How many years did I fail to know
what was enough from what was over the top,
or teeming, opulence, excess?
I recently received a suggestion
I seek to partake of an offer
I realized would fit Blake’s descriptor
of being “more than enough.”
In the same way I’ve learned
how to distinguish enough from surfeit,
in food, and in other things,
I understand I have far more than I need
in every possible way.
Truly, I am blessed!
