Though I have all Power in heaven and on earth, I am infinitely tender with you. The weaker you are, the more gently I approach you. Let your weakness be a door to My Presence. Whenever you feel inadequate, remember that I am your ever-present Help. ~ Sarah Young, Jesus Calling, Enjoying Peace in His Presence. Thomas Nelson Nook Edition location 34
How would my weakness be a door
available to Jesus? My weakness is fear.
is feelings of inadequacy, is self-doubt.
Just as a thief would choose weakness…
a broken lock, a door left ajar, a rear entrance,
so it is weakness makes me…or makes me feel…
inept, clumsy, unsure…in need of a door,
an avenue out! I’ll certainly accept it.
Whenever I feel inadequate, I will remember
that my ever-present Help wants to help!
