I will not be a martyr any longer by refusing to get the help I deserve in life—the help that makes life simpler. God, help me let go of my need to do everything alone. Help me use the vast Universe or resources available to me.
Beattie, Melody. The Language of Letting Go: Hazelden Meditation Series (p. 357). Hazelden Publishing. Kindle Edition.
I confess I need help.
I need to move boxes of books home
then to distribute them
to people who want them,
to those who wrote them
or people who should read them.
I need to contact authors
(or estates of people) I can't find.
I need people who can compute royalties.
I need to admit my needs
and stop the martyrdom complex.
Now look at yourself?
What help do you need?
