Things can’t cut it.
Specifically, riches can’t cut it.
Power can’t cut it.
Success can’t cut it.
Obsessing can’t cut it
whether the obsession is an addiction,
a person we place pride in
or long to be identified with…
We cannot set out to be happy
and make it so.
Love is the focus, the source
and if you give and receive love
enthusiastically, loving all you meet,
you can find and keep happiness.
