Boxing Day

Time to do service.
Traditionally
December 26th is
a holiday on which post-men, 
errand-boys, 
and servants of various kinds 
expect to receive a Christmas-box.
A day to remember folks
often not noticed.
Why should it be a single day?
Shouldn’t we have boxing day
every day of the year?
Shouldn’t we be generous
of material assets sometimes
and our assistance always?
