Whether your Higher Power is
God, Yahweh, Buddha,
Demiurge, Jehovah, Abba,
Elohim, Jehovah, Guđán,
Allah, All-Glorious,  Bahá,Krishna, Brahman, Krishna,
Great Spirit, Tao,
Harold "Harold by thy name,"
Infinite Consciousness,
Holy Spirit, Goddess...
God with us...because that's what we ask
in turning our lives and our wills
over to the Power Higher than us,
the God of our understanding.
Whether the earth shakes
at the moment of our surrender
or whether we look at the path traveled
and see two sets of footprints,
this God of our understanding
becomes a very present help in time of need.
And oh, how much we need out Higher Power
as time passes and we more fully
come to understand!
