Every day is a day when we must carry the vision of God's will into all of our activities. "How can I best serve Thee – Thy will (not mine) be done." These are thoughts which must go with us constantly. We can exercise our will power along this line all we wish. It is the proper use of the will. ~ (Alcoholics Anonymous, page 85)Carry the vision?
What happened to carry the message?
Does one trump the other?
If so, wouldn't the message trump the vision?
No. If we don't have the vision
we don't have the message
and then we don't have what anybody wants
and we're not asked to lead, to guide,
to mentor. And without the vision,
it's good we're not asked. Instead,
we should seek those who carry the vision
and catch the spark once more.
