Encircled

 Embroiled in boisterous bustle,
goaded towards guilt undeserved,
shackled with stifling shame
I wither,
I rankle,
I wane.

Enfolded in friendship’s fabric,
encased in caressing cocoons,
nurtured by nature’s transcendence
I flourish,
I flower,
I’m freed.
