It's counterintuitive. When we need him,
when we can't find him, when we feel abandoned...
that's the time to trust our God and lean on him.
How do you lean on someone who seems absent?
How do you believe when all your experience,
all your desires stand left unfulfilled?
Faith. Faith is evidence of things hoped for,
the confidence we can trust when we feel alone.
Trust we will be heard is all the justification we need
to take our Power at his word.
When we need him, when we can't find him
