In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly….But I, by your great love,
can come into your house;
in reverence I bow down
toward your holy temple.Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness
because of my enemies—
make your way straight before me….Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield.~ Psalm 5:3, 7-8, 12 (NIV)
God, I read today, “Fortunately,
we have the capacity to choose,
over and over again,
the voice we prefer hearing.”*
And from Psalm 11, “In the Lord I take refuge.”
I like the concept of being in you!
I’ve quoted before (in nine other Recovery Daily Doses,
the statement “God is in me
like the ocean in a wave,
not like a blueberry in a muffin.”
But I am in you as well.
Thank you for being with me always.
