The formula for discovering peace is simple. Try the following: Stop thinking. Get quiet. Turn your attention to the Spirit within and ask for clarity, for a different perspective, for a forgiving heart. Peace will come. ~ Casey, Karen. Daily Meditations for Practicing the Course (Hazelden Meditations) . Hazelden Publishing. Kindle Edition.
The traditional folksong gives a formula:
“Peace I ask of thee o river, peace, peace, peace.
When I learn to live serenely, cares will cease.
From the hills I gather courage, visions of the days to be,
Strength to lead and faith to follow, all is given unto me.
Peace I ask of thee o river, peace, peace, peace.”
Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you;
My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do not let your heart be troubled,
nor let it be fearful.” John 14:27
Psalm 23 says: “The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
for the sake of His name.”
Or simply, “Be still, and know that I am God.”

Any way that works for you,
Claim the peace you long for!
Then share it with the world!
