But it's really almost frantic internal emptiness,
a heart-sucking pump, selective blindness, nonsight.
The envious don't see what they have,
God-given and humanly nurtured, in themselves.
They claim superiority, minimizing others with contempt.
Not seeing our fortune, we begrudge others'.
