Mantras

 

A mantra is any phrase that we codify, imbue with power, and call upon when needed. ~ Susan Peirce Thompson

Do you have mantras?
I’ve often told you my oldest:
“Procrastination is chronic
low-intensity fear.” I’m working
on developing new ones
including these:
“One day at a time. ”
“What other people think about me
is none of my business.”
“You can’t think your way
into right action,
but you can act your way
into right thinking.”
“HALT: when you are hungry,
angry, lonely, tired.”
“I will be a better me.”
and, “Nothing changes
if nothing changes.”
What do you want to change in you?
How can a mantra move you
in that direction?
