for sleep, for driving past temptation,
for remembering a name
or finding something lost.
God's not too good
for little things, for quirks
like crossing yourself
when you're not Catholic
or yelling at him in frustration.
God's not too good
to be my friend, to see humor
in trivia, get joy from snapshot details,
to care about me and my fears,
my concerns, my feelings, about me.
