In Case of Slipping

You eat your food plan
a week, two, or a few days
to find for no reason
you don't. You slip, you rebel,
you say you have no idea
of why, of what could cause
the lapses, the thwarting, rebellion.
No, you don't, but you could...
Really follow the plan, work the Steps,
surrender, feel the feelings
and as you feel them, write them down
to learn the why you couldn't.
