Deference

deference |ˈdefərəns|
noun
humble submission and respect: he addressed her with the deference due to age.
God is due reverence,
honor, respect.
But those things
seem to put me at par,
on the same level
as God. That's not true.
God os due deference,
which means I cannot be equal,
I cannot react as confident.
Instead I just learn to defer,
to respect, to have do doubt
he's due humble respect,
to be perceived where he is,
on a higher plain than I have seen.
