Tired and Sick

Normal doesn't dictate
the order of clichés.
Trim and fit, mean and lean,
mighty and high —
some work as well,
though all feel askew.
Truth can dwell in dissonance.
How often has fatigue come first,
as old, sick patterns tag along?
